I highly recommend Dr. Kurtin. He is a superior surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Kurtin recently operated on my 94-year-old mother using robotics to successfully remove a portion of her colon. Mom healed quickly and is living a good life thanks to Dr. Kurtin! Dr. Duarte and his staff need to be given a thousand-star review! Dr. Duarte was very detail oriented in his discussion about my surgery--yet he explained everything in 'layman's terms.' Dr. Rahi is very professional, with a great bedside manner. It was easy talking to him about my medical condition. He takes the time to listen to his patients and thoroughly explains the procedure recommended. His office staff was very helpful.
I recently came from New York and needed a ectomy immediately without a recommendation. I found Dr. Rahi. Well, let's face it..the experience of a quadruple bypass is not great fun but I was always in great hands all the way through it. Not only was I happy with Dr. Bufkin but the whole staff team was always helpful and engaging. Thanks to all of you.
Staff was very nice and easy to work with for my entire experience. PA's and assisting doctors were excellent. Dr Bufkin made me feel very comfortable, explaining the entire procedure and options prior to my mitral valve surgery. I am extremely satisfied with my surgery. Dr. Bufkin is the best!
While I did trust his assessment (when I saw him), he was a bit pompous (no problem) and abrupt (still no problem), yet there were too many office appointment cancellations to feel confident of consistent care as a new cardiac patient. Eventually I had to leave him, was assigned to someone in the same office and yep, appointment cancellations with the other cardiologist in the same office. Where do I turn? It is unsettling being on cardiac meds and not knowing whom to turn to.
