Basically brushed me off..had serious issues.
I have seen Dr. Dickey on multiple visits both before and after cataract surgery. He listens, he explains your options, and makes you feel secure that he's going to takes good care of you. And he did. My surgeries could not have gone better. All of those years and expense of glasses and contact lenses are over. I have been a patient of Dr. Dickey for YEARS. I am 77 years old, and have been treated by MANY dozens of physicians in my life time, and must say he is unquestionably one of the BEST I have ever been associated with. He has treated me, and performed eye surgery on me with the most professional skill and attitude. My only problem with speaking highly of him is that if he gets TOO popular I'll have problems getting future appointments with him.....ha, ha, ha.
DR. Dickey is an excellent ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. He has treated me for glaucoma for over 20 years, and performed cataract surgery and MIGS with IStents in both eyes. He is also a very kind and empathetic physician. I have recommended him to many friends, and they have been pleased with his care.
He listened and took care of my problems and concerns. He recommends appropriate treatment, but never pushes.
Dr. Dickey is my wife's Ophthalmologist. I have been to all of her appts. this past year, due to her vision problems. He is thorough, patient, and takes as much time as needed to explain options, risks, and benefits. I see Dr. Morris, another physician within the group practice. He is also excellent. Dr. Dicky has been my Dr. for 20 years. He is patient and kind, and will take as much time as needed to explain a procedure and help you make a decision.
I highly recommend Dr. Dickey. He was very thorough with his explanation my cataract condition as well as the procedure itself. Because of prior Lasik surgery, as well as astigmatism, I had low expectations of perfect distance vision after correction. Being a skilled surgeon, the results he acheived far exceeded those expectations. Having monovision at this time, I am now no longer dependent on glasses for either distance or reading.
