I feel blessed to have found Dr. James. She placed me as the center of her attention. She uses a white board, not a computer when she talks to you. She is present, focused on the patient, listening and assessing. Her very presence is calming and reassuring.She addressed all of my concerns, offered solutions and advice. I left her office with the certainty I received the best care available.If your issue is skin, she is the doctor.
Dr. James is excellent. I had a noncancerous tumor in my arm. I went to see three other dermatologists who were unable to diagnose it and were extremely unhelpful. Dr. James was instantly able to recognize the type of lesion and recommended me to an excellent surgeon. I was two months post-partum when this happened and she was so kind to me since I was stressed about having surgery and a newborn. I highly recommend her. Her knowledge is excellent, and she is exceedingly nice.
Dr. James was very honest in providing solutions to my skin condition, other dermatologists pushed products and surgeries that were later deemed unnecessary. Dr. James is trustworthy and very caring about the best results for her patients.
Saw Dr. James for a number of complaints stemming from a complex medical condition(which also makes me very emotional). She took the time to answer each question and offer solutions to help deal with each issue. Never made me feel rushed, ignorant or downright foolish as some other derms have. I left feeling validated over my concerns and relieved to have found someone who would address them.
Dr. James found a cancerous growth on my skin that two other doctors missed. She is through, intelligent and very kind. I would highly recommend her.
