Ever since Jamboree took over my apartment complex. There has been a complete disregard for my safety or sanity. I reside in Saybrook Apartments. They took over the construction of new and remodel of old apartments here. I am the longest standing resident here. I am also their most disabled. I am in a powerchair, on oxygen and a ventilator. This is for all landlords: Let's start with the pro - They are legit in payments. They do help tenants with first month rent and 2-month deposit. They do give this amount and it is legit. They do pick up the phone and get back to you. They are responsible. Here's the Con - I accepted tenants from this program, and already within the first week, there were issues, domestic violence, noisy, illegal drug use etc. Maybe I was unlucky. But that's what is expected from a program that support low-income tenants.
Omg where do I even start, Jamboree has some of the most lazy employees. They come off like they care about the community good enough to get all the funding and once they get it it’s down hill from there. And it’s even worse now that they work from home because now they’re really not answering phones and you can’t leave a voicemail because it’s full and has been full for weeks now.
