Rush hour traffic building up along southbound hwy 163. Warm, humid Friday afternoon at Hawthorne Crossings mall. The recent heatwave eased up a bit since yesterday, which is a welcome relief. Summer climate still effective and Mini-me 1.0 requested snacks from Jamba while getting her hair did at Sola Salons. Chill, quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff got our drinks and Parmesan pretzel with minimal wait time. I like that they can still make some off-menu drinks from when they originally opened. You've got to go and give this location a try!! I had a couple of gift cards sitting around, so I stopped in for a fruit smoothie after my workout ... and was pleasantly surprised to see they now have sandwiches! I ordered a Caribbean Passion smoothie and the Rotisserie Chicken Avo Ranch~rotisserie chicken, avocado, white cheddar, provolone, spinach, bacon, and ranch on ciabatta -- served toasted.
