I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for Jaliyaa Coffee in D.C. I tried their Spiced Brown Sugar Latte — it was smooth, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. They’ve got a great selection of unique flavors, so there’s something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out. And if you’re planning an event, they also offer catering!
Jaliyaa is a beautiful experience from beginning to end—from the intentionality of the name to the art from all over Africa to the coffee beans from Kenya, Ethiopia, and more. And of course, the coffee and matcha are delicious. The strawberry matcha is great for beginners; not too sweet. And they make a superb iced mocha with cardamom + cinnamon. Mo provides amazing customer service and you can tell he truly cares about the craft. I will continue coming to Jaliyaa for as long as they’re here!
