There's no question our specialty is steak! We buy only corn fed, Nebraska raised beef. The finest beef available anywhere. We then either dry or wet age our beef, depending on the cut, for a minimum of 28 days to ensure that famous flavor and tenderness found only at JAK's. At brunch, lunch or dinner, we offer the best quality and the best value in town. At dinner, all entrees include salad, veggies, your choice of potato and hot sourdough bread. The salad alone gets me in the door. But the steak is what blows my mind. every time.

It was a wonderful experience the waiter he was really really nice he explain things to me and my guest I really appreciate that, the food was excellent someone took me There back in the early 2000’s and so on birthdays I go there and so today was a celebration then I took someone there and they were really impressed and I’m glad of that the meat was cooked just right it tasted just right you didn’t have to put anything on it you can eat it as it is when it comes out of the kitchen that’s how good of the flavor it is
Ordered their burger-without all the extras. Just: burger, bun, cheese. It was the best burger I have had in ages. Can’t find a good burger in Portland. Service at the bar was great!
I had been told for years by members of the gym I used to manage that I need to come here. Fast forward 8 years I finally made it, and they were not wrong.
fantastic service, staff is fantastic, and the food is especially top notch! They are always happy to accommodate us!
We were meeting our friends after the Husky game so we’re expecting it to be crowded but we put our name on the list as soon as we got there and were seated as soon as they arrived. Dinner was delicious as always and our waiter Bill was fantastic! We always recommend Jaks when someone asks for a good place to eat.
