This place is awesome! Food is great and atmosphere is so fun! Had to have the banana pudding fresh out of the oven - absolutely wonderful!
We were in town taking our son on a college visit to Baylor. Spent a day shopping in downtown and stopped at Jakes for lunch. Decor was very cute. Food was good and came out quick. I had the quiche and my husband had chicken fried steak. Can't wait to eat here again next time we are in Waco.

We ate here twice on our trip. First time we had the Chicken Fried chicken and chicken spaghetti. Both were very good. Second visit we had the avocado burgers. Excellent!! Love the fried green beans and sweet potato fries. Pies are awesome!!
