After picking up mom’s fruitcake at Collin Street Bakery in Waco, we went into town to find lunch and shop at one of the local antique malls. We had lunch at Jake’s, it was very good. Not like any other tea house I’ve been to. Old gas station decor. Food was very good.
The deserts are awesome, fresh, and perfect.

Excellent food, great service, beautiful desserts and a fun atmosphere. And it’s been consistently good every time we pop in.
Good food. Good service. We had the hamburger steak and the veggies were Delish! Especially the corn. Then walked down to hippodrome to see Clint Black.
