I felt like I was stepping back in time with Elvis and great milk shakes. Great people and fun atmosphere and defiantly going back.
In town for a week. Stumbled across Jakes and loved the place. Waaaay to much food but it was all good. The atmosphere is great and the staff was so friendly. The decor is retro and cool!

The food was unimpressive, it had no flavor and the okra tasted like it had been prepared hours ago and kept under a heat lamp. The Hamburger Steak was supposed to come with steak sauce and it didn't. Perhaps that was the problem because without the steak sauce, it was just flavorless ground beef with onions and mushrooms. The theming in the restaurant was great and the menu provides a lot of choices. Unfortunately, from my experience, the most delicious thing on the menu was the puns!
