It's always a great idea for reservations. We've never had real issues waiting for our table, then. The wait staff is exceptional, and experienced. There does not appear to be a high rotation of personnel, like we've noticed at other establishments. The food was excellent and timely. If I am looking for great food, excellent reception and care, and a hospitable atmosphere, Jakes is at the top of the list!
One of my favorite go to spots!!! You must start with one of jakes soups. To die for!!! 😍 #trytheduck
If it weren't for the loud foursome next to us it would have been perfect! In love with the walleye and Brussel sprouts!
Fantastic steaks and excellent service, I have been going there over 40years never been disappointed
We had our work holiday party there last night (a bit after the holidays, i know) and we had pretty much all of the appetizers/starters while have drinks at the bar and then went on to sitting and having our main courses and dessert. I did not have one bad thing! My filet was awesome with the mushroom butter sauce!
Service and atmosphere was great. Steaks orderd rare, were REALLY rare.. one side wasn't even seared on one steak.. but it was busy and things happen.. we could have sent it back , but took it home to finish instead. Dessert and apps were super good!!! Can't beat the monday special!
Excellent New Years Eve Dinner. Steaks, service, etc. were great as always.
