I Loved my hair and the customer service was great. However, I was quoted one price over the phone and then it was a different price when I got there. Just make sure that you are clear on the price before going.
Lord its Friday and i really needed to get my hair done only place that i was recommended to was Jai African hair braiding and they really did a great job , bet you i look sexy now for my date i highly recommend this place everybody at the shop is nice and warm welcoming. thanks.
I do not recommend this place. The people are very rude. They also quote a price over the phone, then when you go in to get your haor braided they tell you a price that is $20 more!
I Was referred by a co-worker, excellent doing my daughters and my hair, but loud and obnoxious. Atmosphere dreadful, not the cleanest shop and if you knew any better you though you where in the GHETTO. I have NEVER seen a lack of professionalism in a shop and it reflects on Jai. She does not lead by example I gather because the braiders did not cater in making sure you where ok. Im was not impress at all and leaving the door open when it's hot, not cool at all. Excellent braider, excited her husband issac got her the shop, she deserves it, she can be a lil milo dramatic and talks alot of on the phone, but outside of that she does hair exceptional well. I was pleased
bad business, unprofessional, need to learn customer service lacking in that department, talks too much on the phone, went in to get a consultant about my hair and hair prices. owner was a quick talker, more concern with you booking an appointment than the customer needs. Wow, happy to know we can post comments to places not to go Jai's and Mai's in ybor city. Two major drama queens. I posted on both, they were great friend, but it was all about money, men and lies. They are no longer friends, if these are the type of people that you want. I agree you will get your stomach turned. Im so tired of hearing about Jai's hubby Izak til its sicken. Great braider, use to work with Mai rather a bouncer from shop to shop... very unprofessional, talks too much on the cell about personal business, complains and whines takes to many breaks and talks extremely too much about personal and other staff. If you can position her to stop all if that she would do just fine.
