Drive 13 hours to pick up a Defender v8 (VIN SALEWEEE5P2236902) after working the deal for multiple weeks. Worked with Justin B who was awesome. He took pictures, pointed out what in his opinion were the flaws, etc. Was assured with the vehicle being CPO and being a former LR exec car, it was in excellent condition having only 9500 miles. Rick was exceptionally understanding and helpful when it came to getting my car washed. He took it upon himself to run my car through when I’d otherwise not be able to get it cleaned because of the long wait. He was incredibly kind and upbeat and even helped get a sticker off my car. I was very fortunate that he assisted me and went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. I hope to work with him again :)
Very bad experience. Firstly, I have had range rovers for over 20 years in England. I had noticed a couple of recalls on our older Range Rover sport which never gets used (but is in great shape for its age, low miles) but to only tow a boat. I got a call and message to say my car was ready for pick up, I told them I’d be in the next day. I was very transparent from the start about my plans to ship my vehicle to Saudi Arabia after purchasing it from Austin Range Rover.
