I am relatively new to the area and did an internet search to find local vision care. Thanks to the great reviews from others, I made an appointment at Jaffrey Eye Care. Dr. Acker and her staff are friendly people who took their time discussing options available to me and clearing up insurance issues too. The environment is clean and professional. My out of pocket expense for eyeglasses with progressive lenses was significantly less than other places I have purchased from in the past. Great experience overall.
A close friend recommended Dr.Acker & staff & I needed an optometrist to check a sudden issue with my right eye. My ophthalmologist at MEEI thought it would be helpful for me to find a local office rather than journey to Boston. Recently Iost a pair fo presecription sung;lassses/ which had come form Jaffrey Eye Care. After a week and they didn't turn up in another pocket or some such, I decided to call Jaffrey to replace them. I no longer live in Jaffrey. Eric was very helpful, particularly since this was July 4th Weekend. After some research he learned that the original maker had discontinued by style and would take a week to provide a replacement. Marilynn is the best. In 1987, while getting an exam, she was able to detect a major brain illness. Thanks to her I was able to get the medical help I needed.
