My parents and family have gone to the Jade Garden since it first opened in Ankeny. Tuesday night, October 20, visiting from California my dad and I went to the Jade Garden. We stood at the front entrance while a man talked on the phone for over 10 minutes. He never acknowledged us. Several employees walked by and also never asked if they could help. Finally, after about 15 we walked out. Totally disappointed!!!!!!
Great food and amazing service! My favorite place to eat no matter if it's take out or dine in! I love the new location! More parking!
Awful! Ordered delivery. Took over an hour, showed up cold and missing half the order. Even heated was very bland.

We ordered two meals for delivery. We had them in 20 minutes. Yum!
Ordered two dinners for delivery - one of them was sweet & sour chicken. It took almost an hour to get here , and they didn't even send sweet & sour sauce. I called the restaurant and was transferred to the owner. He said they'd send it - but it would be about an hour. WHAT???? I thanked him & said I would probably never order from his restaurant again. He replied "that's your choice." What the HELL happened to good, quality customer service? Goodbye Jade Garden.
My expirence was terrible and I mean terrible. The waitresses phone ring while taking my order and bc I was unfamiliar with sweet and sour sauce looking like a clear color she asked me in a rude way if I've ever been there before and argued with me that their previous location wad not next to bench warmers. I gave her a 20.00 as my meal was 13.00 she never came back with my change and I just left. They have horrible food and lucky bamboo or China moon is by far better.
Food took 95 minutes to arrive after two calls. When it did arrive, only 2 of 3 meals were there. Took two more calls to get them to understand what I still needed from my online order. Food was average.
