Best soul food I've ever had - with live entertainment to boot!
I was disappointed today I went to Jacobs on 143 n 8th and literally everything was BLAND I made sure I got an It of everything too the only thing with a slight bit of taste was the baked chicken and the BBQ spare rib the Mac and cheese looked a mess did not stick and I was super upset when my peach cobbler was super watery ������� super sad this used to be one of my top spots
I recently went with my husband, i made sure i had a lil of everything. Not everything was like i expected. I did enjoyed the candy yams with the beef ribs. My bake mac and cheese w 6 cheese is still #1. Collard green need some love. Cabbage not good (it don't need broccoli or onions yuk!) The price is out of control
Going back this afternoon. Had the turkey , mac and cheese, rice and beans, collard greens, a potato and tossed salad, on monday. Having the same today.
My first time there and went back everyday until I left NY. The food is phenomenal! Fresh, cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the best part is, you can try a bit of everything.
The music was great. The people were nice. The food was excellent. The sweet potato 🍠 were on point. The salads too. It's worth the money you spend. At least the one on Lennox avenue and 129th street. Delicious. Delicious food 🥘
The best thing about Jacobs is the food. Every dish has its own taste and flavor. Im going to be a regular customer there. And they were jamming last night with the music.

Beef short ribs....delicious. Great prices too for lunch. Totally enjoyed
