This office made and loaded a crown for one of my teeth in 2012 and recently in 2016, the filling of the crown broke! I moved out of Champaign in 2015. When I checked with my local dentist in Seattle, they told me they need to remake the crown. I called Champaign Dental Group 2 times to ask if they would cover the cost for a new crown and they simply never called me back. I have been a patient here for over a decade and turns out if your crown breaks before the 5 year time period your insurance requires, they don't stand behind their work. My much older crown is still fine (from the same dentist even) yet the new one some how broke in two places? Then they don't want to stand behind or warranty what is clearly faulty materials? Only want to rip you off! – I went to this dental office for a routine cleaning and throughout the cleaning the dental hygienist performed many tests that were not necessary, according to other dentists I have talked to and of course were not covered by my insurance. They did not inform me that these were elective tests, just said "ok we are going to do ..." So I ended up paying way more than was necessary and I can afford. This office offers quality care and keeps you on time. – I have been under Dr. Kuo's care since he began work in Champaign, and my experience has been excellent. I have found him friendly yet thorough and precise when it comes to my dental care. The staff has been friendly and thoroughly professional. I rarely spend more than a few minutes in the waiting room. I have not seen anything like the complaints that other reviewers have offered. I felt they were very thorough and explained everything... – I had not read any reviews before I chose them, they accepted my ins. and were polite on the phone so I made the appointment. I saw Dr. Kuo and one of the hygienists at my first appointment, I had not been experiencing any pain or problems but they checked everything anyway.
