Editorial fromWith a name that references a seventies sitcom (Three's Company) and decor that suggests the fifties, one might expect Jack's Bistro to be playfully eclectic. And one would be right. The Canton restaurant exudes fun and draws patrons with…

Definitely my all time favorite restaurant Many places try to be innovative but, in doing so, lose quality. This is not the case with Jack's. The food is certainly unlike most you'd find in the area, but never loses quality or taste. Seriously, I haven't had one thing I found subpar. It has actually ruined other restaurants for me because I can't help but compare the food to Jack's. The price point is appropriate for what you get. Espeically their monthly regional menu, which focuses on one region or ethnicity and you get a ... read more
Creative, Fun Food Jack's Bistro has a great sense of humor - as evidenced by the bar name (a sly reference to Three's Company), as well as the food. On my first visit to Jack's, my dining companion had "Snapping Berry Tuna", which came out crackling and popping, and then we figured out that there were pop rocks in the sauce. Kind of a novelty, but it paid off because the food was delicious! The bar is cozy and friendly. I will definitely be back.
Innovative and cozy – Jack's specialty is sous-vide and these dishes occupy a lot though not all of their menu which does change frequently. The food, sous-vide or otherwise, is consistently good with occasional bouts with really brilliant flavor combination's. Definitely a regular on our dinner route.
Jack's Bistro Retro Feel, Good Food, & Poor General Manager – I went to Jack's tonight for the first time. We (party of 2) arrived early (5:30) trying to beat the crowd that we were told would surely be there for dinner. Food was Great, see notes after my brief rant. First impressions are very important and ours was less then good. From all the reading I have done on this restaurant we have heard that the best seats in the house were the booths in the bar area, so that is was we requested before being told the pretentious an... read more
My partner and I switched to this company last year in December. We are extemely satisfied with the service.
Inventive, adventurous Food that ROCKS! – The atmosphere is half local bar and half artsy restaurant. Mixed drinks are fun like chai bubble tea, huckleberry lemondade and spa martini. Menu is inventive and frisky. I've been there numerous times and will keep coming back. The smore dessert is legendary. My sister adores this scandenavian hotdog mosh, which looks scary but she loves it. I've had pork chops, veg bento box, seared tuna with poprocks (CLASSIC!), chocolate mac & cheese (AMAZING), purple curry muscles and more. We'... read more
“The most innovative restaurant in Baltimore” – We visited Jack's Bistro tonight on the recommendation of a local. We were greeted with smiles, and although they were very busy, our many questions about the very eclectic menu were answered patiently by a charismatic and informative waiter who was as eager to serve the food as we were to try it! We had a perfect version of steak tartare, and a slider which was a pure bacon patty! The prices are a steal, especially for the standout sous vide dishes. Try the duck duo or the sou... read more
