I have been here multiple times. The DJ was horrible. We suggested more upbeat music. He wanted us to be kicked out at this moment. First we were allowed to dance where the DJ couldn’t see us. Then when we danced near the DJ stand, he required we left, and shined his flashlight in our face. The bouncer walked us to the door. So warm and cozy on a cold Portland day. Charcuterie tray, Brussel sprouts, cheese plate all excellent. The charcuterie, especially so. Service attentive. Drinks well made. Would go again and highly recommend for a late afternoon or early evening spot to kick back and relax!
Jack Knife ruined my wedding. More specifically, Annie, their events coordinator ruined my after party. I reached out to Jack Knife to rent the back area for my wedding after party. I asked multiple times about music and the DJ. After she told me there was no way to control the music, she did mention that it's usually top 40's. I specifically mentioned, I just didn't want rap.
