Best Filet I have had in a very long time! I could cut it with my fork, and the broiled scallops were incredible!
Great food and service. Steak was tasty and the side of mushrooms made it great.
Not busy when we were there so it was nice to have a quiet meal away from downtown ... However the portions seemed a bit small for what you pay. I completely understand its a tourist town but for 4 pieces of lobster a glob of mashed potatoes and 4 spears of asparagus we paid $35. The aparagus and the lobster were on the verge of being cold. The drink order was wrong and in the short time we were there....we had 4 different servers come to the table.
We stoppped in after a day of hiking at Acadia National Park. The staff was very friendly. The server was very busy, but was quick with our drinks and taking our order. The food was fabulous. Steaks were cooked as we requested. Portions were large. Beer was delicious. The desert was outstanding. Overall, great dining experience!!!
We always enjoy dinner at Jack Russell's. Amazing steak cooked to perfection no matter what cut you choose. The waitstaff is always pleasant. Jack Russell's is our choice for a spontaneous dinner out or for celebrating a special occasion. Highly recommend this restaurant!
My aunt recommended we go here for the lobster and we were not disappointed! My mom and I had the crab cake appetizer and the lobster, both were fantastic! Definitely the best crab cake I've ever had and great first experience with lobster. Our waiter was great, he even gave us a list of places to visit on the island and showed us how to crack the lobster!
Lovely dinner! Great service! Dog friendly! An excellent experience in Bar Harbour!
