I had the fried Redfish. It needed to be seasoned more and Louisiana Hotsauce should be added to the table. But the portion size is great! The mac-n-cheese was really good... potato salad, not so much. Service wasn't the best and it wasn't overly busy in the restaurant - we never got drink refills and the waitress seemed to be in a rush about everything- but she was kinda nice. The atmosphere was nice. Overall, it wasn't too terrible. I would say I would visit again.
Went to the restaurant today for the first time. I'm saying to myself "Why did I wait this long?" to experience this place. It's just fabulous and the service and food was beyond compare. I live on the Westbank and we have nothing that compares to Jack Dempsey's.
Awesome food and great service. The restaurant is and old house but very nice unique.
Everything I have eaten from Jack Dempsey has been wonderful delicious and so amazing can't wait to come back just fell in love with those onion rings.

best Mac and Cheese anywhere.. including Texas.. and great atmosphere too
Being from Kansas we were so excited to find this restaurant! Service was excellent and so was the food. Was glad that Yelp showed us the option for the yummy dinner. Portions are huge so come hungry!
Great Food. Great environment. We will be back on our next trip from Texas
