RecommendedWe loved Jack & Charlie’s! Such a great food experience. The wagyu 21 day aged steak is amazing! From the artisan cheese platter, to the delicious main course, to the mouth watering upside down peach cobbler, everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I totally enjoyed and recommend this restaurant. From the decor, and the background music, to the food, wine list and fellow diners. Totally enjoyable and 5+ stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our lamb t-bones were perfect. If you like them cooked medium to medium well and not rare to medium-rare, let your server know. Our server, Dustin, was GREAT.
Love this place! I'm so glad it's still a part of Visalia. The history, drinks, and staff are always really kind.
tonight we celebrated my girlfreinds birthday. my psrents had the corned beef and cabage, being that it's St. Pattys day, and the Beef stroganoff, while my GF gor the new york steak and I the Ox cheeks. The servixe and food were amazing the the drinks well made, and a little on the strong side... my personal preference. from the cheeseplate to bisque and entrees, everything was fabouls. every detail of the dish including garnishes were a delightful flavor party with every bite.
Atmoshpere and Food – OK, I have to admit that at least 30% of my review is based on the location of this restaurant alone- located below grade at an old jailhouse building downtown. I love the way the interior designer has treated the space to create an art-deco feel while convincing you that the low ceiling height really isn't low at all. It's a beautiful place.
