Very overdue in writing this review, and that delay is part of the story. I fully intended to write it sooner, but my spouse and I have been very busy enjoying the results, so better late than never. Was referred to Dr. Ayoub after having symptoms of fibroids. He gave me all of my options before deciding on a minimally invasive outpatient surgery. It has been 2 years and no signs of fibroids since the surgery. I now visit him every year for my annual and will continue to visit him even when I move out of the area. He is always honest and transparent about everything. The nurses are always pleasant and make you feel comfortable.
Was very condescending to my wife when she was simply asking questions about what miscarriages look/feel like. Laughed/scoffed when we showed him pictures we took and then proceeded to condescend to us asking "where we went to school". He then bragged about how he is like the only gynecologist in the area. I would say he needs to fix his bedside manner but the fact that his hubris bleeds so much into it is a bad sign.
Felt very pressured into a procedure that I didn't need for a diagnosis that was wrong. It felt like he did not let me leave until I made an appointment for the procedure, which I cancelled the next day. He did not listen or take me seriously when I spoke about my issues and tried to pigeonhole me into a procedure that I did not need (I went to another practice where the OBGYN there was stunned that this doctor made that recommendation). I don't know how he is still practicing either - as many of the previous reviews stated.
