I’ve had a pleasant experience with this VA clinic. This is the first time I’ve actually felt heard and cared about and I’ve been ordered actual tests and labs to find out the underlying cause to my condition vs just slapping a generic label on it and managing symptoms. I can’t thank my primary care doctor enough and big shout out to the gastrointestinal team too! I’m sure everyone doesn’t have the same experience but I’ve felt nothing but kindness and care here
I have/get so much anxiety trying to attend appointments at the Pcola JACC, sometimes I pull into the parking lot, and then just drive home. Like most if not all VA facilities, the hardest part is getting past the receptionists. 90% are rude, condescending, and LAZY. I've shown up for appointments only to be told, "You're not showing up in the system." They will lie, deny, disappear referrals for Community Care. I've had administrator staff at Baptist and Sacred Heart tell me they would like to NOT deal with the VA, they onl... read more
warning they will deny appointments and community care, go to ER don't wait on care they don't care about you. 21 days by law you should only have to wait for a appointment, not 4 months not 1 year. they make up their own rules then will lie and gaslight to say they did nothing wrong!
This facility is great but, there is such a high turn over rate.
