My Mom was here for 6 months and she absolutely loved the personal care and attention she received. Her medical needs were followed very closely. The staff was absolutely wonderful to her and our entire family. Somebody was always available to answer any of our questions or concerns 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The staff is dedicated beyond anything I have ever witnessed and I highly recommend J. A. Wedum should you or your family have the unfortunate need for residential hospice.
Do not have your loved one brought here! Unless you want to be treated with zero compassion or concern! My Dad passed away on Wednesday, November 4th, 2015, after being there less than 24 hours. In that time, it took a nurse 9 hours to come and ask my Mom if she even wanted a glass of water. No one took the time to talk to her, or show any compassion! My Dad seemed to be nonexistent in their eyes. My brother had to go find a nurse to inform her of my Dad death. Even after he died, no one expressed concern. Horrible, horrible... read more
Wedum Hospice is an amazing facility. Even though our sister was in an unresponsive state, the staff treated her with such kindness and dignity. I cannot imagine a brighter, cleaner or more caring place to spend your last days and the compassion they show family is just unmatched. I would recommend this hospice care above any. If you have a friend or family member that needs hospice, please check them out. God bless them all.
Awesome staff! Can't say enough good things about them. The facility is top notch, spacious and comfortable for the client and their families.
Made us feel so much better when our grandma was placed here in 2013. Wonderful people, wonderful staff. I have recommended multiple times and will continue to.
My Dad was there for Hospice. The nurses are amazing. I would recommend Wedum wholeheartedly.
