The people at the desk why they keep asking for disks since their disk reader does not work. The doctor told us three times it works occasionally. I asked if he would look at MyChart and he said no. He measured my back only and said I didn’t need surgery. I asked him to look at the results. He didnt read the results. The said I could leave.
Doctor bookwalter is a brilliant surgeon. He also caused me permanent damage in 2007 that I will never fully recuperate from. He performed a laminectomy on my L5 vertebrae. I have PTSTI wake up in the middle of night screaming I think surgeons are screwing with me and I'm gonna feel it again the pain gives me nightmares I'm 50 years old and I have mental problems because of my surgery in 2007.

I fell down a flight of stairs and was subsequently taken by ambulance to a local reputable hospital where they took both x-rays and CT scans and discovered a fractured vertebra in my neck along with a broken collar bone. The doctor put me in a neck brace immediately explaining to me that I would be in it for minimum 2 months, then transition to a soft brace then physical therapy. Strange. I read the previous review and had the complete opposite experience. He was courteous, professional and respectful. We had a long drive in so we got there early the day of the surgery. I could barely walk upon arriving. The surgery was done while lying on my side which I thought was strange but when I woke up I felt great. The incision was much smaller than my previous laminectomy surgery. I was actually able to walk out and my wife and I were able to stop for lunch on the drive home. Incredible.
