J & T Tire Co is a Ok in This Sweeds book. I have been going there for about 8 years, ever since my mechanic retired, and yes once in a while (a great while) they do something wrong, but they ALWAYS fix it on their dime. This is a working man's garage. No frills, No suits. Just honest and up front people. I have recommended my friends, family and my own boss to this place, all of who have also become repeat customers. Service is good, prices are great, and people are down to earth. Good First Experience Had a very good experience 6/19/09. Called ahead and talked to John the manager, VERY nice, very accommodating. When I went there it was more of the same. His associate was also very helpful when I inquired about tires while I waited. Their price was a little over $30 less per tire than another quote I received elsewhere that week. They exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased. When I need new tires I will give them my business. BTW I am not a relative!

i have been going to J & T Tire for about 10 years now. I have had nothing but postive experiences everytime I have gone there. i have found that they have the least expensive pricing on tires and labor. Before there are any repairs done, they have informed me of all that is wrong and why it needs to be repaired. I now have my whole family coming to J & T Tire. Two family members wait till they come to Pittsburgh to have there new tires! If you are looking for a loyal place to take your vehicle, I would suggest them.

HORRIBLE workmanship and ethics I bought a wheel and tire package including bands and sensors from J&T. They gave me shimmy issues since day one which they tried to fix to no avail. I was told it must be the wheels. They made no offer to return the wheels for new ones.. I ordered another set and asked J&T to install and made my appointment. My car sat for 5 hours before I was told that they would not have time for my car. They said the job would take 4-5 hours. Trying to Help I'm sure all the good reviews are freinds of the business, but here is the truth. I had an accident and sent my car to the Direct Repair Collision Center who does work for State Farm Insurance.( a one stop shop) Direct Collision subs out the Mechanical work to J&T Tire. They were supposed to evaluate my car for damage on the left front tire, suspension, and steering. Honest auto repair If you are tired of being gouged on repair bills or getting talked into repairs your car doesn't really need, this is the place for you. We've been going to this shop for over 20 years and we've been highly satisfied with all the work that has needed done to our cars over the years. They go above and beyond, and have always been polite. When shopping around for a used car, we always bring the car we're interested in over to J & T to get an honest opinion of the state of the vehicle.
