HONEST SHOP I've been taking my cars to J&T since i moved to the north hills, 24 years ago. I've read the other reviews. I'm not going to say that EVERY mechanic that works at J&T NEVER makes a mistake. What craftsman or professional Never makes a mistake? What i AM saying, is you take your car in, (because it's making a funny noise) an you'll get an HONEST professionals opinion as to the problem. And it will be repaired properly. Good First Experience Had a very good experience 6/19/09. Called ahead and talked to John the manager, VERY nice, very accommodating. When I went there it was more of the same. His associate was also very helpful when I inquired about tires while I waited. Their price was a little over $30 less per tire than another quote I received elsewhere that week. They exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased. When I need new tires I will give them my business. BTW I am not a relative!
J & T Tire Co is a Ok in This Sweeds book. I have been going there for about 8 years, ever since my mechanic retired, and yes once in a while (a great while) they do something wrong, but they ALWAYS fix it on their dime. This is a working man's garage. No frills, No suits. Just honest and up front people. Honest auto repair If you are tired of being gouged on repair bills or getting talked into repairs your car doesn't really need, this is the place for you. We've been going to this shop for over 20 years and we've been highly satisfied with all the work that has needed done to our cars over the years. They go above and beyond, and have always been polite. When shopping around for a used car, we always bring the car we're interested in over to J & T to get an honest opinion of the state of the vehicle.
HORRIBLE workmanship and ethics I bought a wheel and tire package including bands and sensors from J&T. They gave me shimmy issues since day one which they tried to fix to no avail. I was told it must be the wheels. They made no offer to return the wheels for new ones.. I ordered another set and asked J&T to install and made my appointment. My car sat for 5 hours before I was told that they would not have time for my car. They said the job would take 4-5 hours. Trying to Help I'm sure all the good reviews are freinds of the business, but here is the truth. I had an accident and sent my car to the Direct Repair Collision Center who does work for State Farm Insurance.( a one stop shop) Direct Collision subs out the Mechanical work to J&T Tire. They were supposed to evaluate my car for damage on the left front tire, suspension, and steering. After the inspection, they couldn't find anything wrong accept I needed a new tire.After them having my car for 3 days, they were saying I needed... read more
good work I read all the reviews for J & T Tire and decided to give them a try. I am new in the area and needed to have an inspection done. They called me with an estimate for lower ball joints and I knew I needed tires. I called around and they were the lowest price by $150.00. They had my vehicle ready by MY specified time. Everyone was very courteous and down to earth. I will recommend them to anyone as well as have all of my vehicles serviced there.
