Modern apartments, high ceilings, prime location. Responsive maintenance, quick help with any issues. The bathroom fans in our 2 bathrooms were set to never stop working. I was told to prevent mold infestation. Annoying like hell. Eats electricity even when you are out on vacation. Management refused to change the settings. It was fun until it lasted thank you for the experience
I have enjoyed living at J Malden Center so much that I've lived here twice now. The apartments and amenities are beautiful and well maintained with a very friendly and accommodating office staff. I have a disability and use a mobility assistance device, so it's especially helpful that they have automatic doors at the main entrances, handicap parking spaces available, and elevators/ramps. The location is convenient being a 2 min walk to the Malden T stop and commuter rail, plus I'm a 5 min walk from Starbucks, a liquor store... read more
My husband and I have lived here for two years. We love J Malden Center so much. First of all, the facilities in the apartment are very complete, including a large common area, entertainment area, gym and swimming pool. And all these areas are very clean. Of course, it is also friendly to dog owners , and it has a small indoor park which can let people walk dogs. Then, I would like to say that the location of J Malden Center is very convenient. Echo many of the bad reviews: Management is unprofessional and extremely unresponsive. Maintenance and security issues linger. Package theft was a problem and front entrance door lock didn’t work for well over a month. A “luxury” apartment building providing an awfully poor experience. Aside from the great location, we knew we couldn’t stay there for another month.
