I went to get crickets from here and my baby beardy won't eat them and they had a full grown bearded dragon that was sick cause they didn't take care of it.

Hi Kyle, the last adult bearded dragon that we sold, we sold earlier this month and it was in great health. The customer who bought it still comes in to buy products for it and is happy with it. We had one in January that a CUSTOMER found and brought in that someone had left by a dumpster at an apartment complex. We took it in to try and rehabilitate it and let one of our employees take it home to nurse it back to health. I have been going to this store for the past couple of years now for my two dogs. The staff are all extremely helpful, the manager is great and the owner is very friendly. The store is always clean and extremely well stocked. Its nice to support a local business that has been in Grand Junction for 40+ years!
Love the store, love the service, love the staff. Always great prices. The best pet store on the western slope by far.

I have always had reptiles and I came to this store to buy food and supplies for them as well as my other pets. I went in for frozen rats one day and noticed the store had gotten a Tegu, I was fascinated with the lizards and was excited to see him so I asked one of the employees to take him out for me to hold because I never had before. Hi, we haven't had a Tegu here in many years. We've never had to take any of our lizards or reptiles to any veterinarians. We think you may have us confused with a different store. We're located at 2851 1/2 North Avenue and we can assure you that we would NEVER let a lizard get in that condition. We are trained to care for all of the pets that we bring into the store. My husband purchased a Bearded Dragon for my birthday in October from J&M.
