Agreed to a simple procedure to fix an ACL tear. When I go to get the stitches out, he tells me about the genetic deformed meniscus that wasn't mentioned in the image report. But he went ahead and "fixed" it. As soon as I quit using the crutches it was apparent something was very wrong. More than 6 months post surgery I now have major swelling after even short periods of walking, a numb spot in the shin, and drop foot if I'm not specifically paying attention to the articulation.
