They were the kindest and most genuine people. Punctual. Picked appropriate comps. Great rates. Will use them again if needed.
My home was appraised by JH Troup and they were in my home for seven minutes. They appraised my home for 20k less. They used comps that were not in our area. We had a house that sold right up the street and they did not use that. My agent sent them comps to support our list price but they refused to change their answer. After doing research on them I think its fair to say they are doing this in rural communities. We put a lot of money in our home. NEVER EVER USE THIS FIRM!!!! So this man just told me to have a good life after I questioned why they needed to charge to come back out to take a picture of a railing that needed added for an FHA Refinance. I have never ever had an experience like this.
