I have motorhome on a Chevy Express frame. Had severe electrical problems. Spent over $1700 with three different establishments. Still had the same severe problem. Burned out three batteries, two alternators, and had an instrument cluster replaced. The latter was accomplished by a Chevy dealership. The problem persisted. RecommendedAfter waiting for a long while at a big name car place, I called performance auto for an issue with my car starting. I was not sure whether it was the battery, the alternator, or the starter. John told me to come on over and he would check it out. As soon as I pulled up, John came out to greet me and take a look at my car. Within 15 minutes the diagnostic test was run and I had a new battery in my car! Don and Chris are great people to work with. I have a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck and I had some serious diesel exhaust issues (EPA crap). They both discussed different options with me, and got my truck running better than EVER!! , and at a reasonable price. I've had these problems for years, and my regular mechanic couldn't get my truck straightened out. Performance Auto is my place to go now.
I have 4 vehicles and JD Performance is the only place I will take them for repair! Skilled professionals. Being able to drive away and not think about the reason you had to take it there.
My sons car was making weird noises under the passenger wheel; rather than charging me unnecessary fees Mr. Don made a suggestion and informed me to bring it back if it continues. It doesn't surprise me to see all the good reviews... I was so amazed to finally receive good customer service and above all honesty from this mechanic shop. Always honest. And won't tell you, you need a new motor when all you need is a new belt. If it's broke they can fix it.
Having maintenance problems on a vehicle can be a frustrating and choosing an auto repair shop can be even more frustrating. Finding an honest mechanic is not an easy thing but I have had nothing but great service here. Brought my sons vehicle in for some repairs and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem at a reasonable cost.
