I had my first appointment at JD Howard Dental yesterday, having had to switch dentist because my old dentist did not take my new insurance. The friendliness of the staff and the care they took in explaining all the procedures necessary to fix my broken tooth were exceptional. What my insurance will cover and when they will cover it was explained to me very clearly and I was given several options and chose the one best for me and my finances. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and Hello. My hygienist Kathy was very kind and compassionate. I hadn't been to a dentist in quite some time and was a little nervous. Dr.Irzyk came in and together we came up with a game plan for my oral health. He explained to me that he loved his job and enjoyed helping people. Just what I was looking for, a dedicated team of professionals.

I had a bad experience at a dentist in 2007. I now have 2 young children and am trying to teach them to do good with their teeth and take care of them... well, the best way to teach is lead by example so off to the dentist I went (finally) 9 years later and dealing with horrible pain in my back teeth where I have some fillings already. I didn't think my teeth were bad until they showed me the truth. I now understand and do well taking care of my teeth with brushing, flossing daily, and mouth rinse daily. it's been 9 years and I fear the dentist more than dying... I had a bad experience at a dentist in 2007. J Howard is a compassionate and competent practice. The staff is knowledgeable and gentile. Dr, Ben out=lines a fine treatment plan which is responsive to my needs.
