First cataract and lense replacement surgery was fine. I was awake the entire time. He yelled at me during the second surgery because I wasn't following his directions but I was asleep except for the time he yelled in my ear. Maybe due to over anaethesia or because my oxygen level was low (mid 80s in recovery room). No one bothered to figure it out during the surgery.
