I heard from manager in San Antonio location J Alexanders is coming back to Houston they will be near the Galleria area sometime in 2019!
It closed 8 months ago! Best prime rib in town. Sad to see it go!

WHY OH WHY did my J. Alexanders on Westheimer close>??? WHY?? It was my date restaurant. The duck off private vibe...ol school, steakhouse, elegant and the ambiance was sooooo inviting. I wish I had a vote in this decision! I agree about the location..it probably wasnt producing the clientele it deserved..but perhaps, it could have been a great cigar bar..it just needed a tweak...! Aww..oh well. Goodbye J. Alexanders..we had some good times. :(
