As a parent of a a child with special needs, I was very disappointed with how our situation was handled today. During the current heat wave, my car’s AC stopped working while driving to my son’s therapy appointment. I called and asked if his 45-minute session could be shortened to 30 minutes due to the circumstances, especially since I had both of my young children with me.
