Receptionist was very rude! Doctor and Nurse were both great. I was seen at about 9am was sent to the hospital for an X-ray. I called at 1pm because I hadn’t heard anything with the results was told by the rude receptionist that the doctor would call me with the results before the end of the day. Can't go in to appt with your spouse when he's sick is not acceptable. He has a rare heart condition and every patient should be allowed to have a family member with them. We left after ppl that came in after us, and we scheduled online went back before him. We will go to parkview from now on for urgent care. I felt that my concerns about not having a cycle for the past three months were not taken seriously. I explained to both the nurse and the doctor that I previously had surgery where two polyps were removed, one of which was precancerous. Because of that history, my concern was that I could either be pregnant or that something more serious could be happening.However, I was only given a pregnancy test and a brief abdominal exam. I am generally not a fan of IU health as an organization, but this trip was so quick and everyone was very considerate. I asked if there was a place to get water while I waited and they just handed me one. Providers answered questions I had in a thoughtful but concise way that was easy to understand. I was in and out within 20 minutes and the care I got was effective in alleviating my ailments. Thank you to the workers!
