After nearly two weeks, my referral has yet to process. We are talking nearly 80 work hours! I love IU Health, but this has been a let down and has contributed to my stress about my health. This review has nothing to do with the amazing doctors. Simply, the scheduling staff.
It is so unfortunate that these Endocrinologists that are also faculty at IUPUI’s renowned School of Medicine are inaccessible because of corporate policies requiring ridiculous procedures. They cant process referrals within a business week and then after that week (my referral failed to grt processed) I finally got told after several phone calls following up that I also meed to send over records and give 3 business days for a nurse to review before I could get an appointment.
