The receptionists are extremely disrespectful and don’t belong anywhere near patients. I called to inform them that my father was driving to the emergency room with extremely high blood pressure and blood sugar, and the boy (men aren’t disrespectful) asked if I was EMS, when I said no but I am his caregiver he hung up on me. This has to be the worst emergency room I've ever seen in my life. Whoever is in charge of operations should be removed immediately. Their system obviously doesn't work. People with serious medical issues are made to sit in the waiting room for hours and hours. People are brought in by ambulance and made to sit in the waiting room for hours and hours. The women in the front triage area are rude. Patients are treated terribly but will be billed outrageous medical bills for the crappiest service. This is shameful and IU needs ... read more

The medical staff are very polite and caring towards the patients. They tend to the patients every need. IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. They are awesome!!!
