RecommendedWe had a wonderful experience with Its Time Kayak! I was 9 months pregnant when we went he was very accommodating and made sure we got the comfortable and spacious kayak! He is very friendly, enthusiastic and chill!
My family (2 adults, teen, tween) rented kayaks for 4 hours. We picked them up at Ponce de Leon park and kayaked through the mangrove tunnels and around Charlotte harbor. Nick met us on time and made it easy for us to return the kayaks when we needed. The kayaks were in great shape. My husband said it was the best kayak experience he's had.
Did a guided paddle with Nick. He is very friendly and so knowledgeable about plants and wildlife in the area, what's edible, what's good for pest control etc. Did another paddle on our own which was excellent. Boats, life vests and paddles are of good quality - a good paddle is lighter and makes a difference when paddling a couple hours
We’ve gone on the Old Florida Paddle on the Peace River several times, once today and once a few years ago. Each time it was wonderful and completely different. It’s Time provides comfortable kayaks and a really refreshing fresh fruit snack for each paddler. Nick was our guide today and shared lots of knowledge about the River and flora and history. We had a great time kayaking the mangrove tunnels! Mike and Audrey were great guides. They could not have been nicer and the fresh fruit and water was a nice treat! Thanks for a very pleasant morning!
A great time! Kayaks we're good quality, wasn't too long or short of a trip. The couple who owns it was very personal. The trip comes with a snack consisting of a water bottle, granola bar and fruit cut up very fresh! Our group of four strongly enjoyed it!

I had never been in a kayak and decided it was time to see if I would like it as much as I thought I would, and if I could actually do it. I signed up for the beginner class at Charlotte County Cultural Center and met Mike and Audrey with 4 other beginners. I just completed the fourth session and am hooked, so now I can join the kayak club in my community with some experience under my life vest.
