I was here for a 35 day evaluation back in 2024 and it was a living hell us girls couldn’t do anything without getting our outings taken from us one wrong move and we couldn’t go for a outing and the staff are some of the most entitled people I’ve ever met there was only two good staff that actually helped me im not sure if their still there but I hope if they are they are helping others they they helped me. Was a resident at the North Homes Cottage almost 20 years ago. At the time, I hated it. But now as an adult, I see it was a effective program learning to deal with my emotions, mental health and traumas. I'm now a successful adult managing all my mental heath very well and all thanks to the staff and program. Unfortunately, mental health issues have been passed down to the next generation and will be looking into this for my child. I hope she gets the same results as I. Thank you to "Big Jay"

i spent 6 1/2 months in this hellhole. it genuinely only made me worse. the staff give up on you very quick and dont enforce most the rules, the kids constantly get in physical and verbal fights and all the staff do is hold us there is never any big change, they dont watch the kids enough to where multiple kids got into sexual relations in secret, i had gotten sexually assaulted by another kid there and the staff did nothing they didnt even move our units and most of them didnt even believe me. do not send your kids here.

I lived here for a while and I hated it the male staff are aggressive when dealing with clients it caused a big chunk of my fear of touch from being thrown by a male staff. Horrible,no protection,no proper care,fights,screaming everything a person with mental health problems nightmare,don't go here I REPEAT do not go there,very unsafe and barely physical health care,there is constantly fighting,screaming,uncomfortable bedding
