I lived here for a while and I hated it the male staff are aggressive when dealing with clients it caused a big chunk of my fear of touch from being thrown by a male staff. Horrible,no protection,no proper care,fights,screaming everything a person with mental health problems nightmare,don't go here I REPEAT do not go there,very unsafe and barely physical health care,there is constantly fighting,screaming,uncomfortable bedding
A friend of the family was dropped off this week and she ran away that night. As of this post, she is still missing. She was not even supposed to go outside. I am angry and want to know why they haven’t organized a search?!!! Our family friends are up in Grand Rapids wandering around looking for their daughter. I cannot even inagine the devastation they must feel. This facility needs to take full responsibility and begin coordinating and funding a search.
My daughter was in treatment there for 4months and nothing good came about it at all. Therapist where like its ok. Move our daughter to Avati I. BLAIN MN. and it was amazing for her.
I was here when i was 13-14 and was traumatized multiple times, assaulted, emotionally abused. I’m 21 years old now and still trying to file a lawsuit from the PTSD and emotional trauma. I’m not fighting just for me, it’s for me and all the other kids that have been sent here by a failed system that was put in place to “protect us.” SHUT THESE PLACES DOWN!!!!
