Our owner and head cook, Benny Polisi, opened Italian Garden in 2010 to share his love for homemade Italian food with the McKinney community. Having grown up in Albania and cooking under the instruction of his grandmother, Benny learned to perfect the art of Italian cooking at a young age. Although our service wasn't the greatest, they were extremely busy. The entrées came out pretty quickly, and were very tasty and large portions for smaller prices. I have had some pretty great Italian before, so I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but it was actually very good. I got the chicken scarpello(?) (Chicken breasts over spaghetti in a cream sauce with red bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic) and salad with house dressing and both were unique and delicious.
❤️we absolutely love the food here! Only reason I gave 4stars instead of 5, the one time we actually ate there instead of take out the service was poor and so slow! Now to go is the way to go!!! Best chicken piccata around!!
Hands down best place for some good italian ! We come on almost a weekly basis and have never been let down! Food is consistent and that's what matters most. All the waitstaff is super nice too!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!!! The food, the atmosphere the employees! I've never eaten Italian food that tastes this good! They really make you feel like you are "at home" whenever you eat here!
