Blah Used to be good place to get good home cooked meal. They made some changes, and well.....there went the food. Food not good anymore. Menu will list which vegetables are available everyday, and which are available on different days....found this not to be the case at all. It is cheap and fast. Go for the rolls and not the cornbread. Last little bowl of squash casserole had little squash in it other than one huge solid piece (that was still green) right in the middle. Isy Bells Isy Bells serves country style cooking at a reasonable price. Their lunch specials would be your best bet for fresh food and good service. Their tea is good.
Lots of choices There is nothing really all that special about Isy Bell's. There are a lot of choices, but the food is not really all that good. We have gone several times, and have had cold food. I am not a huge fan of this place and probably won't be eating there again.
Down home cooking and a fantastic breakfast! My family loves Isy Bell's for the down home cooking and menu variety. While there are many country "staples" on the menu - mashed potatoes, green beans, meatloaf, etc. - the main courses and some sides vary from visit to visit making each trip something to look forward to!
Typical Country Cafe There's nothing phenomenal about Isy Bell's, just plain, country style cooking. They have a variety of items available on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Service is always good and everyone is friendly. The location is very easy to get in and out of. I wish they were open on Sunday.
