I recently had surgery with Dr. Halaby in Sarasota, and I truly cannot say enough positive things about him. From the moment I met him, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring. 27 years old, presenting with swelling, soreness, and foot discoloration. Told that I’m young and there’s no DVT, so it’s not an issue. Got a second opinion and had a venous study. Bilateral venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, with varicose veins. I urge you not to visit this doctor if you are young, and don’t already have a diagnosis because he won’t look for the cause of issue in a young individual.

Dr Halaby has performed 2 surgeries on me and 1 on my husband. He and his nurse practitioner are knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. We would never go anywhere else. Dr Halaby goes out of his way, above and beyond for his patients.
I had a blood clot and Dr. Halaby followed up a month later and saw that it had not improved, so he performed a thrombectomy. When I was having a completely different surgery three months later, he coordinated with the surgeon and had a filter put in my leg to make sure no clots would go to my heart. I found him to be an excellent, thorough, and caring doctor.
He was great, very pleasant & informative.
Had surgery scheduled and they called to tell me to come to the hospital an hour earlier since he was ready for me. I got to the hospital at 11:00 am. At 4:00 pm Halaby still didn’t show up! I hadn’t had anything to eat or drink since 8:00 pm the night before and had none of my blood pressure medicine which for me could be fatal. TCAR procedure on my left carotid artery. Surgery was without incident and successful. Dr. Halaby explained the procedure ahead of time and put me at ease with his confident demeanor.
