Wouldn't recommend. Dr. Mays gives you his full attention for 5-10 minutes - that's it. If you have a simple issue, he can help. If it's more complicated and needs consults with other doctors or tests, you don't want this guy. In my various interactions, he would never take into account information from previous visits - no matter how recent - again - you get about 5-10 minutes worth of his time and attention. dr mays is a very good dr. the problem is its the staff of people that work at warren clinic they are rude every time i call or ask a question unfortunately you see the staff and the people that check you in first more than you see the doctor so it reflects very bad on the dr. this has resulted in me looking for another doctor which sucks cause i like him i just cant do with rude people and his nurse is a little sharp and direct at times, So i tried for sometime to keep dr mays but again so unprofessional! Having a good PCP is SO important! Highly recommend Israel Mays. I can always get in quick. He’s always super nice. Actually listens to me and my issues and gets me in to see specialist quickly. He wants me to get better as much as I do! 5 Dr
He's been my PCP for many years and no complaints. Other physicians make you feel like a number. Definitely not the case with Dr. Mays.
Dr. Israel Mays is my primary care and is very good. But Robert Stone will accuse you of seeking "benzos" when you come in with a fever and sick symptoms.
