They started out as a reputable company. Now the cameras will be useless unless they keep the network up and running. Service is spotty at best. Old ikeep cameras will not work with the new ap. Very disappointed.

I don't know how this company could possibly have an A- rating with BBB. It makes me think BBB is completely out of touch. The company servers have been offline for over a week now. That is over a week with no alarm system. I submitted a ticket and the reply was, "Our engineers are aware of the server problem currently and are working as diligently as possible to get these problems resolved." That was four days ago. I do not see how this company can stay in business when they have such bad service.

This is the worst security system anyone can purchase. It is down more times than it is running. Customer Service tells you they are aware of the problem and they are working on it but no progress is ever made. I am a security consultant and will never recommend this equipment and service to anyone.

This company is horrendous!! It was a gigantic rip off!!! The customer service is a joke. They WILL NOT fix any problems you have, they just run you around in circles and tell you to jump through hoops. I have put in so many tickets and got absolutely NO WHERE, that I finally just gave up. I bought the starter kit and was pretty happy with it while I was living in NYC. But when I moved to my home in Florida permanently I decided to upgrade and buy their horribly OVERPRICED piece of junk camera's (which are literally the EXAC... read more

These cameras are not great. I was a Kickstarter backer and while I didn't initially have a problem with the camera, within 9 months the camera would no longer connect to the video feed. The company gave me a replacement camera around June of 2018. That camera stopped working 2 weeks ago. The camera was giving odd messages and not functioning properly. Hello, In my interactions with Holly she did initially ask if we had a take back program, however I did not fully comprehend what she meant at that point, however I proceeded to try and help Holly as best as I could and within my limits of the warranty period regardless of my original comprehension. That being said, I asked Holly for her receipt of purchase for the camera, and she did provide it and also stated, "I returned the not working camera and was sent a new or refurbished camera. Just wanted to update my review of ten minutes ago. I felt this was important but forgot to add it. First of all, when I phoned and spoke to CSR at ismartalarm a couple days ago, I was told that they are aware cameras are not functioning as they are supposed to, and that firmware was being worked on, but they couldnt tell me when that would be available. Ive had my cameras for over a year and I thought that it was fine. However, when I went to set one of my cameras to motion detect, I realized that it worked the first week then stopped working. I then set motion detection for each of my three cameras and none of them worked. The customer service reps are nice if you call. As a one year owner of the complete system for it's basic operational function I would give it a 5 out of 10. The system is off line quite a bit for whatever reason, but it does notify you immediately when triggered and functioning. My complaint is with the camera which was an add-on, and on a scale of 1-10 it gets a one and is basically useless, not working at all, hard to set up and an overall piece of garbage and a waste. This company used to have excellent customer service and now it is non-existent

This customer has a support ticket open with a CSR named Diane C*******, under Zendesk Ticket #*****. The issue is being resolved through that ticket with multiple interactions since 12/30/2016.
