Chose Isle of Palms as it was more cost effective than most accommodation on the Gold Coast, just 15 mins from airport and a short 30min freeway trip to the parks so convenient and easy to get to. Having a full shopping center within walking distance was very convenient. Unit was nice, unlike other comments we had a split aircon upstairs that kept the place nice and cool. The place is absolutely disgusting. The people were rude when we called them to tell them that we could not let our children stay in bedrooms with old food, hair, and bugs. The beds were made with sheets that were not cleaned and smelled the actual kitchen has a layer of grease and was sticky to the touch. The outside areas were also covered in dirt and needed a good clean the worst being the actual from door where we needed the enter the property. There was hair and dirt in the cutlery draw. Amazing resort! Secure and quiet spot.. just 5mins walk to Pines shopping centre.
