The sushi tastes great (on par with the other more expensive sushi restaurants in the area) and the price for the buffet is unbeatable! Great friendly staff. My first time is at the De Pere restaurant shortly after opening. We sat at the boats (counter by the chefs, with a really cool buffet concept under construction). Prep time was really slow for rolls and we could order only one roll per person at a time, but our chef made a bowl of crab and rice right away for our toddler, so that helped. Great food, with a warm inviting atmosphere! Must try!
Story time! I doubt anyone will read this, but I felt like putting it here, just in case! It all began around July of 2014. My grandma, hereby referred to as grandma, showed me this food dudes ad. We laughed hysterically about how it all sounded. "Sweet sauce? Eel sauce? What's 'crunch'? People eat eel?!" Creative sushi. Good service. The new ownership has made improvements to the menu and the concept that I really like. I'm excited they are opening a new location in DePere near my office. Now I will be going there for lunch from time to time.
