Cutting Edge Skin Care in the most Elegant Spa – I can't say enough about Island Medical Spa! My friend and I went to an open house a year ago, thinking we would tour and have some appetizers. Not my idea of a "Premiere" day spa! – I have lived in Anacortes for several years and was very excited of the idea of a destination spa opening in my own home town. Last summer I vistited their open house that introducted the Obagi product line, my skin changed drastically and I love the product. Since starting Obagi I have been very disappointed that they never have products in stock. Suspicious – Isn't it a little suspicious that all the reviews on here besides this one were written June 2008 - September 2008 right about the time that the new spa was opening up? Hm, possibly written by staff at the direction of the manager (physician's "wife")?

most refreashing & relaxing place in ancortes – I went to the open house on 8/6/08 to find out if "Island Medical Spa" was just another in and out massage facility or did we have a hidden away treasure. I took my husbond with me to tour the facility in case I needed a quick get away, but instead we were both impressed by the courteous & informant staff and how clean the spa is. Best Spa in Anacortes! – Don't let "medical" deceive you. Spa experience through and through. Once you walk in, you will start to relax your mind, body and soul. I've had many massages and tried a facial. Both services were wonderful! Try their delicious citrus tea. Foot soak and steam room are all included in this refreshing experience. Best Spa in Washington! Friendly, Professional, Helpful! – This spa was reccomended by friends. I went in for my free consultation thinking it would be a very basic appointment. I was so wrong! F spent an hour and a half with me. We discussed my skin and different treatment plans that would work for me. Sublime – I am not given to pampering myself on a regular basis, but when I do, Island Medical Spa is where I go. I have visited many times for massage, facial treatments and skin consultations. My favorite part (other than the treatments!) is the sanctuary room, which is extraordinary in both its simplicity and soothing athmosphere.
